Vaccine Lottery

Good! We’re trying to get at least 90% of our employees vaccinated so we’re giving away $20,000 in a “Vaccine Lottery” because it’s so important that the arc teams are all vaccinated, which keeps YOU safer, your STUDENTS safer, and your FAMILY safer.

Do this for a chance to win $500

1. Go to MyTurn.ca.gov to find a conveniently located vaccination site near you and make an appointment or just walk in.
2. Get your first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination.
3. Upload a copy or scan of your vaccine card to Paycom. Vaccine cards/verification must be uploaded to Paycom by Friday 8/13 at 10AM to be eligible for the first drawing.

That’s it. You’re now eligible for the ARC VAX LOTTERY where we’ll give away a total of $20,000 to arc employees who have gotten at least their first vaccination dose.

On Friday, August 13 at noon, we’ll hold the first of two drawings where we’ll give out CASH PRIZES for every arc employee who’s been vaccinated (at least with the first dose). That gives you a full week (including the weekend) to get it done.

Yes, you get PAID to get vaccinated.  All employees are eligible to receive CA COVID Supplemental time for vaccination appointments AND we will pay for your mileage to and from the vaccination site.

We BELIEVE in the safety of the vaccine, and we want to accelerate the process of getting back to normal so we’ve done everything we can think of to get our staff vaccinated.

GOOD for you! Make sure you’ve logged your vaccine status with HR and you will AUTOMATICALLY be entered into the drawing for the first week.

FIRST DRAWING (Friday, 8/13)  

25 winners get $500 and 10 winners get $250.  That means you have a 1 in 10 chance of winning some cash. (Compare those odds to the REAL lottery!)

SECOND DRAWING (Friday, 8/20)

5 winners get $500 and 10 winners get $250.  That means you have a 1 in 25 chance of winning. (You see what we did there by making the odds better if you get your first dose SOONER?)

What’s the catch? Where’s the fine print?  

OK, if you win once, your name is taken out of the next lottery. Is the money taxable? Yes, and you’ll get it as a direct deposit. Is everyone eligible? Yes, unless you’re part of the executive team (sorry, execs, that’s why you make the big bucks).  If you’re seeking a medical or religious exemption from taking the vaccine, alert HR at COVIDhelp@arc-experience.com (those not getting the vaccine will not be entered in the drawing).
