After School Programs
Arc is proud to offer a wide range of programs for K-12 youth. In all our programs, we emphasize experiential learning, life skills acquisition, and team building as well as engagement with the natural world and community.

Sense of Belonging
First and foremost, Arc is where students feel safe and supported.
Student-Led
Leadership curriculum is directly driven by our youth. Their involvement ensures a program they want to attend.
Community Centered
Programs customized to your needs, facilitated by staff from your community.
Data Driven
We continuously improve programs through regular input from all stakeholders.
Comprehensive Program
A comprehensive program is what's considered a traditional after school program, held during the hours before and/or after school, Monday through Friday. The day includes:
- academic support
- enrichment clubs
- leadership development
- physical activity
- healthy snack
- social emotional learning
While all our schools' programs include these core elements, no program looks the same. Student voice plays a large factor in what club activities and special events are offered.

ELOP Days
Through ELOP funding, we can provide a full 8-hour day of fun for your non-school days or holidays. Throughout the day, we offer a mix of educational enrichment, outdoor time, group games, and more. Days can also be built up to include specialized lessons or field trips.

Elementary School
Whether you have access to the ASES grant, ELOP, or non-grant funding, we work directly with you to design a program to meet your families' needs.
Comprehensive program offered M-F from the end of the regular school day to 6pm on your campus. Our program is available through ASES grant funding or fee-based payment system for parents.
Middle School
Our activities for middle school students are structured to support their transition to high school.
Our comprehensive after school program is offered M-F from the last bell to 6pm on your campus. Daily schedule includes enrichment activities, homework help, healthy snacks, and outdoor play.
Students choose an elective for 6 weeks, culminating in a showcase to demonstrate new skills and knowledge. All electives fit within our 5 Pillars of MS Excellence: Literacy, Leadership & Life, Visual & Performing Arts, Health & Fitness, and STEM.

High School
After school programs for high school students are critical to their growth and ultimately their success as scholars and leaders in their communities.
California offers grant funding through After School Safety and Enrichment for Teens (ASSETs). Funds are used to provide academic enrichment opportunities and supportive services before and after school.
Through our student-centered model, youth drive their own programming, ensuring engagement.
