DIANA CARRILLO, VP OF PROGRAMS AT ARC, JOINS LEGACY LA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Los Angeles, CA – August 19, 2024 – Diana Carrillo, Vice President of Programs at Arc After School, has joined Legacy LA’s Board of Directors. Carrillo brings a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to youth development to her new role with Legacy LA.
Carrillo’s impressive career at Arc, an award-winning organization that provides after-school, outdoor and experiential education programs, is evidence of her strong foundation in leadership and her dedication to serving youth. During her 11 years at Arc, she has progressed from a Program Leader to Vice President of Programs, making improvements to the student experience in every role along the way.
Legacy LA, founded in 2007 by Maria “Lou” Calanche, is dedicated to offering positive interventions and alternatives to gangs and violence for young people of Los Angeles. The organization focuses on empowering youth to reach their full potential and equipping them with the tools needed to transform their lives and their communities. It primarily serves the residents of Ramona Gardens in Boyle Heights addressing its ongoing challenges related to gang violence and educational attainment.
