Schools funded by the ASES grant offer comprehensive programs defined by our middle school model, which lends to a more structured learning environment supporting their transition to high school. Programs consist of 6-week enrichment classes as well as daily homework assistance and experiential group activities. The 6 weeks culminate in an event for students to showcase their new skills and knowledge.
5 Pillars of Middle School Excellence
Middle school activities and classes in our enrichment cycles are determined by our 5 Pillars of Middle School Excellence: Literacy, Leadership & Life, The Arts, Health & Fitness, and STEM.
Schools that do not have comprehensive programs may still have arc programs at their site offered by L.E.A.D. (Leadership. Experience. Adventure. Development).
