After school programs for high school students are critical to their growth and ultimately their success as scholars as well as leaders in their communities. Through our model, students are free to participate in, shape, and drive programming on their campuses.

After School Programs
Leadership Council: Student leaders design and drive programming with the mentorship of experienced Site Coordinators and Assistant Coordinators.
Drop-In Center: Safe space provided for students to spend time after school
WOW Events: Special school-wide events that engage the entire campus
Arts Enrichment: Strong arts curriculum at all of our schools
GOALS: Outdoor education based leadership development and life skills training
Take Action Campaign: Year-long leadership development and service learning campaign in collaboration with LAUSD’s Beyond the Bell and SDCOE
Schools funded by the ASSETS grant receive comprehensive programming tailored to the needs of each individual campus. Through student needs assessments, clubs and classes are formed under the categories of Academics, Physical Fitness & Nutrition, Life Skills & Leadership, Visual & Performing Arts, and Civics & Community Involvement. All sites are also equipped with the following resources:
Schools that do not have comprehensive programs may still have arc programs at their site through L.E.A.D. (Leadership. Experience. Adventure. Development).
